Mahkameh Doroud and Ali Soltani are the owners of HandyPro of Washington DC. Ali Soltani has two engineering degrees, one in civil and another in electrical. He received his master degree in MBA from UMUC, Maryland. After completing his Bachelor degree, Ali started to manage various number of construction positions, over a 12 year period. Previously he had been the project manager for an electrical company in Atlanta for a duration of 3 years. Later in 2010, he moved to the DC area, and switched to business management with a specialty in foreign business development. After spending the last 3 years in business, finance and marketing, he saw an opportunity to combine all his experience in different industries and help homeowners find a trusted handyman service for their homes.Mahkameh Doroud holds degrees in art and interior design with nine years of experience in residential interior design. Mahkameh has also served as the chair of the board of directors for Arvand Machine Inc., an international trading company. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and graphic design."

Melissa helps identify how a person interacts with their home, solves accessibility challenges, and aids in home-safety education. As an Occupational Therapist, she plays a key role on our home modification team by using activity analysis and client-centered strategies to identify how to improve participation at home as well as quality of life through home modifications and handyman services.
